# Checking Contact Quality

For Think2Switch™ to effectively read your brain signals, the headset must have good contact with the head.

You can use the **Contact Quality Map** on the Contact Tab to check the contact quality. Try to get all four contacts to be **green** (100%).

### Great/Good Contact Quality

All contacts are green. This is what you want to achieve. A checkmark will appear, telling you whether you are good to move onto calibration.

If a contact is yellow, but still shows a green checkmark, this indicates that the contacts can still read your brain signals accordingly. This is still very good .

### Poor Contact Quality

If there are yellow/red contacts or all are red and there is no green checkmark, click [here](/think2switch-knowledge-guide/think2switch-2.5/before-you-get-started/how-to-setup-the-muse-headset.md) to readjust the headset for better contact quality as the headset is not fitted properly.
