# How Think2Switch™ works

### 🧠 The Brain

#### Your brain makes electricity

Every time you think, move, speak, or even sleep — your brain is busy. It sends tiny electrical signals. Think of them like invisible sparks happening inside your head.

Different thoughts make different patterns of sparks. Think2Switch™ watches for these patterns.

{% hint style="info" icon="fingerprint" %}
**Simple Analogy**

Imagine every thought has its own special fingerprint. Your brain sends a different fingerprint for "rest" than it does for "focus." Think2Switch™ learns to tell them apart.
{% endhint %}

### 👤 The Headset

#### You wear a special headset that looks like a headband or sweatband

The headset goes around the outside of your head, like a headband. It has small sensors that can feel the electrical signals your brain makes. It does **not** go inside your body. It does not hurt.

The headset sends those signals to the Think2Switch™ app on your iPhone or iPad.

### 📱 The Think2Switch™ App

#### First, you teach the Think2Switch™ app what *your* brain signals look like. I**t cannot read your mind.**

Everyone's brain is a little different. Because of this, Think2Switch™ does not work right away. It needs to learn what *your* brain signals look like.

This is called **training**.

You do the training inside the Think2Switch™ app.

You will teach Think2Switch™ two things:

1. **Rest**

This is what your brain signals look like when you are relaxed and you do not want to turn something on.

2. **Command**

This is what your brain signals look like when you **do** want to turn something on.

After training, Think2Switch™ knows the difference.

When you want to turn something on, use your **command**.

When you want to stop, relax and get back to **rest**.

{% hint style="info" icon="dog" %}
**Simple Analogy**

It's like teaching a dog a new trick. First you show the dog what "sit" looks like. After enough practice, the dog knows exactly what to do. Training Think2Switch™ works the same way—you show it your brain signals, and it learns.
{% endhint %}

## From brain to action—step by step

{% stepper %}
{% step %}

### You relax or focus

You either relax your mind (rest) or focus on something (command). These are your two signals.
{% endstep %}

{% step %}

### The headset listens to your brain

Small sensors in the headset listen to your brain signals.
{% endstep %}

{% step %}

### Think2Switch™ looks for the signal

The Think2Switch™ app looks at your brain signals and checks: "Is this **rest** or **command**"?
{% endstep %}

{% step %}

### Something happens!

The Think2Switch™ app sends a signal to a device or screen.

For example:

* A light turns on
* A character jumps in a game
* You choose the 👍 icon to say "yes"
 {% endstep %}
 {% endstepper %}
